(Lansing, MI) –The National Association of Home Builders Codes Committee presented Lee Schwartz, MAHB’s Executive Vice President for Governmental Relations with an Achievement Award at the International Builders Show (IBS) in Orlando, Florida. Schwartz was recognized for his great work on new International Code Changes (ICC) voting process and connecting with hundreds of building officials around the state.
“Lee has done exemplary work on ICC and rounding up building officials around Michigan to vote on the latest round of code changes,” said Robert Filka, CEO of Home Builders Association of Michigan (HBA Michigan). “Lee’s unmatched knowledge of the construction codes makes him an invaluable member of our team. Lee has dedicated the past 25 years of his professional career to our organization, and I am delighted that he was recognized by his colleagues on the national level.”
