The Lakeshore Home Builders Association (LHBA) is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Originally chartered in 1967 as the Home Builders Association of the Holland Area, the new name was adopted when Holland merged with the Shoreline Builders Association in 2012. The LHBA serves over 300 members all along the Lakeshore, from South Haven to Muskegon.
Since its inception, the Lakeshore Home Builders Association’s mission has been to help members to succeed in their businesses. Their flagship event, the Annual Parade of Homes, showcases the best work of the Lakeshore builders. June of 2018 will mark the 50th Lakeshore Parade of Homes.
The LHBA has an active Codes & Construction program, where builders and local building officials meet to keep up with the latest code changes and building techniques. The LHBA is also home to an active Legislative Round Table meeting, where area Legislators meet with members to discuss current local, state, and national legislative topics and economic outlook.
The Lakeshore HBA is proud of the legacy of promoting their members, and serving as the leading voice for the residential building industry along the Lakeshore.
