Builder Michael Flory of Lansing, has been elected as the 2020 President of the Home Builders Association of Michigan (HBA Michigan). The 2020 slate of elected officers for the 5,000-member statewide association includes:

Michael Flory was born and raised in Lansing and graduated from Waverly High School. He is the owner of Custom Built Design & Remodeling, which has quickly grown to become the Lansing area’s premiere home improvement company. A Lansing region leader in high-quality home remodeling projects, Custom Built was named Remodeler of the Year by the Home Builder’s Association of Michigan, along with being recognized by Remodeling Big50 and the Guild Master Awards.

Jason Orvosh, is the co-owner of Orvosh Builders and past president of the Homebuilders Association of Midland. Recently named as one of Michigan’s Top Builders under the age of 40, Orvosh joined his family’s business upon graduating from Ferris State University with a degree in Construction Management. He specializes in new home construction and a large variety of remodeling projects. Jason gives back to the community by working with the building trade programs at both Bullock Creek Schools and Midland Public Schools. He has served on the board of the HBA of Midland since 2011 and was recipient of their 2012 Builder Member of the Year Award. Jeremy Morgan served as the 2018 President of the Builders & Remodelers Association of Mid-Michigan (Flint HBA) and has long served as a member of the HBAM Board of Directors. He is also active with the HBAM Legislative and Legal Action Committees, the Skilled to Build Michigan Foundation and Friends of Housing. Morgan has been active in the residential building sector for two decades and his company, Morgan JW Construction (located in Swartz Creek), employs five people and has been in business for nearly 15 years.

Richard Kligman is a 3rd generation builder and remodeler, as well as a licensed real estate broker. He has 22 years of experience in the home building industry and is a graduate of Michigan State University where he earned a degree in Building Construction Management. He has won numerous housing construction, design, and industry awards including Southeastern Michigan’s 2005 Young Builder of wthe Year and the 2013 Builder of the Year awards. He is a former President of the Home Builder’s Association of Southeastern Michigan and was 2015 Secretary of the Home Builder’s Association of Michigan. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for both the National Association of Home Builders and HomeAid of Southeastern Michigan.
